3. Itinerary Tab (Day-by-Day Details)
Day 1: Arrival in Colombo Touch down at Bandaranaike International Airport. Meet your private driver for a transfer to your hotel in Colombo. Spend the evening at leisure, exploring the local markets or enjoying the coastal breeze at Galle Face Green.
Day 2: Ancient Wonders of Sigiriya Drive to the cultural triangle to visit the magnificent Sigiriya Rock Fortress. Climb the ancient steps to see the frescoes and palace ruins. Afterward, explore the historic Dambulla Cave Temples, a UNESCO World Heritage site.
Day 3: Kandy & Elephant Sanctuary Travel to the sacred city of Kandy. En route, visit an Elephant Sanctuary to observe these gentle giants. In Kandy, visit the Temple of the Tooth Relic and enjoy a traditional cultural dance performance in the evening.
Day 4: Nuwara Eliya Highlands Ascend into the misty mountains of Nuwara Eliya. Tour the lush Tea Estates, learn about the production of Ceylon tea, and stop for photos at a scenic Waterfall along the winding mountain roads.
